ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Ahmad Jawad, Chairman, Standing Committee on Agriculture, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), on the occasion of Independence Day to Pakistanis living in Pakistan and abroad. Congratulating Delhi on the auspicious occasion, he said that August 14 reminds us of this glorious democratic struggle. Our forefathers fought tirelessly for a separate state in the subcontinent so that Muslims could lead their lives in religious, cultural and social power.

We are grateful to our forefathers who sacrificed for the dignity and freedom of future generations. In a special statement on the occasion of Independence Day, Chaudhry Ahmad Jawad said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah wanted a democratic, tolerant and progressive Pakistan where every citizen could use his talents to the fullest to reap the fruits of social and economic development of the country. 

The Founder of Pakistan has always strived for the rule of law, equality and the establishment of a democratic state and he wanted a state where Muslims could flourish and live without fear of oppression, intolerance and injustice. Ahmad Jawad said that we should review the concept of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal to what extent we have succeeded in achieving this.

He said that of course nature has blessed our beautiful country with every blessing. The location of our country and the talented young people who live in it are the factors that can help us achieve our goal and become a successful nation. We will not only overcome the present challenges by adopting the ideology of the Quaid and his principles, unity, faith and discipline, but also succeed in making Pakistan an independent, economically dynamic and prosperous country, ”said Chaudhry Ahmad Jawad. He said that let us pledge once again today that we will build Quaid's Pakistan. He also paid homage to the heroes who protected the country from internal and external threats.
