PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in his message on the National Day of Minorities said that under the Constitution of Pakistan, Muslims and non-Muslims are all Pakistanis. And are equal citizens. Quaid-e-Azam's speech on August 11, 1947 is a reflection of Pakistan's thinking for minorities.


    
    

In his statement, he said that the state and society of Pakistan are committed to the protection of the rights of minorities on the same lines of Quaid-e-Azam. Minorities have equal rights in the Constitution of Pakistan.

He said that best treatment of non-Muslims, tolerance, reciprocity are the golden principles of Islam, non-Muslim Pakistanis have played a historic role on every front including establishment of Pakistan, construction of Pakistan and defense of Pakistan, services for construction, development and prosperity of Pakistan.
 But we pay tribute to non-Muslim Pakistanis, the services of non-Muslim Pakistanis in the field of education and health in particular are unforgettable. He said that together with Muslim and non-Muslim Pakistanis, a beautiful, diverse and multi-participatory democratic society of Pakistan comes into being.
